As founder and CEO of ExcelTrek, Fred brings over 25 years of domestic and international experience in human capital management. Through the course of his corporate career, Fred held progressively responsible executive HR roles at various Fortune 500 companies in diversified industries including banking, commercial aviation, technology, and healthcare.
Fred’s work spans multiple geographies including North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle-East. Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, he brings a rich cultural and linguistic context to his practice which significantly enriches the relevance of each project to their respective audiences.
Guided by a profound sense of commitment to the value of human capital, Fred has helped a vast array of board members, executives, senior & emerging leaders strengthen their understanding and commitment to vital human capital development topics such as leadership & vision, emotional intelligence, culture & work environment, enterprise learning, and talent management.
Fred combines his expertise with an individualized approach carefully tailored to the specific needs of his clients. He conducts his practice with a pragmatic emphasis which guides him in anchoring each project to earthly-footed objectives and outcomes.
Fred holds an MBA from the University of Dallas in Irving, TX, in addition to numerous certifications and executive education programs including leadership development, executive coaching, succession planning, emotional intelligence, organizational design, team building, and behavioral assessments.
Fred resides in Pembroke Pines, FL with his wife and four kids. He is an active youth soccer coach, a bad – albeit persistent – guitar player, and enjoys volunteering his time mentoring and providing career counseling to high school and college students.
